The Strasburg Heritage Society purchased The Shroy House in 1977 and is hoping to renovate the interior for use as a living history venue.

The Glass House was purchased in 2004 and is currently serving as the headquarters of the Society, as well as a place for storage and display of museum exhibits that have been donated by local residents over the years.

The Meetinghouse was the first church in Strasburg, erected in 1804. It was purchased in 2005.

All three of the houses line up side-by-side along South Decatur street. In order to handle activities on the site (Total acreage is about 2 acres) the Society has installed outside bathrooms that have just recently been completed.

Other restoration efforts by the society are being made in and throughout Strasburg to restore properties to 18th and 19th century style. A lot of planning and attention is paid to architectural detail to ensure the validity of the project.
